*All food vendors MUST comply with all local city/ county regulations including completion of the Alameda County Environmental Health Dept (ACEHD) Temporary Food Booth Permit Application.  ACEHD permit applications can be found here: https://www.acgov.org/aceh/food/TemporaryFoodFacilityPermitorCateredEventPermitApplication.pdf

Food vendors arriving onsite at the event without prior approval, Taste of Oakland fees paid, and their completed ACEHD Temporary Food Booth permit will BE DENIED VENDING ONSITE.

VENDOR INFORMATION

You will be contacted by email within 4 days of submission if space is still available within your category.

Vendor fees must be paid within 24 hours from email notification.

No refunds after 06/25/18. Vendors and Exhibitors will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. Event organizers will make space assignments based on venue configuration.

Artisan and Food Vendor spaces do not include any equipment. Please plan to bring your pop-up tent, tables, necessary chairs and/or food vending needs with you. Vending equipment will not be available onsite for rental.

GENERAL EVENT INFO:

NO KEROSENE LANTERNS, WHITE GAS LANTERNS OR CANDLES PERMITTED. FOOD VENDORS MAY USE PROPANE OR CHARCOAL GRILLS (WITH PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL). YOU MUST GET ADVANCED APPROVAL TO SATISFY OAKLAND FIRE PERMIT REQUIREMENTS. YOU MUST SUPPLY YOUR OWN ELECTRICAL AS NEEDED.

Exhibitors and food vendors are required to supply their own dollies, carts and labor for set-up and take-down. Vendors are responsible for providing their own petty cash and change.

Youth Aid Foundation is not responsible for vendor/exhibitors’ property loss or damage due to theft, vandalism, or Acts of God.

RECYCLE:

Vendors are required to keep their area clean and free of trash from in and around the perimeter of their space. You must plan to take your vending trash, recycling, oil and grey water with you.

ELECTRICITY:

Event power source is limited. Plan to bring your own power as needed for your set up requirements.

SET UP INFORMATION:

Set-up details and site plot will be provided via email by Tuesday, 07/03/18.
