The newly formed TASTE OF OAKLAND GOSPEL CHOIR (under the direction of Love Center Ministries Musical Director Rusty Watson) will be featured at the September 1st Taste of Oakland benefit concert. Choirs representing many Bay Area religious communities will come together raising their voices in praise and song. Proceeds from the festival will benefit Youth Aid, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Oakland’s own Dwayne Wiggins of Tony! Toni! Tone! Dwayne invites well known artists to come and provide free music lessons, as well as business fundamentals to Oakland’s youth ranging in age from 8-18 years. Join us as we raise our voices in praise for Youth Aid and Taste Of Oakland.
